The IEAT/UFMG Research Groups Program is accepting applications on a continuous basis, for research groups of a transdisciplinary nature, already existing or to be established at UFMG, characterized by the excellence of their researchers and the advanced nature of their work, focused on current challenges in knowledge.
The program aims to encourage the collaboration of researchers who develop work with transdisciplinary potential, articulating a set of themes from different areas of knowledge.
The coordinator(s) and eventual sub-coordinator(s) of the project(s) must be researchers with recognized scientific experience and with a permanent link with UFMG. The group of researchers must include UFMG professors (active, volunteer or emeritus) who work in at least two major areas of knowledge: Humanities, Literature and Arts; Life Sciences (including Health); and Natural Sciences (including Technology) and may include members from outside UFMG.
The approved research groups will receive support from IEAT for a period of two years, starting from the date of approval of the result.
Applications must be sent to the email address editais@ieat.ufmg.br, by December 31, 2025.
